Google Home, Amazon Echo, and voice-activated digital assistants have enabled entirely new ways to access government services. Interactions with government will be transformed. In a tradition of embracing new technology Utah.Gov has started exploring new possibilities with voice testing for a Utah driver license, receive state information, and other services. Smart Search

It's Just There

Structured data markup, or information defined by a predetermined set of rules, is a standard way to annotate content so Internet services can understand it. Utah.Gov includes structured data markup so that search engines can access data to index content better, present it more prominently in search result snippets, and display it in new experiences like voice answers, maps, and digital assistants such as Alexa, Siri, and Google Now. Google Now Cards

In order to enable a more seamless interaction with online services, Utah.Gov has enabled Google Now Cards to be included in appointment notification emails from the Driver License Division. Learn More
